This image was found in the Computer Arts Magazine - Feb. 09 issue. I like how the illustration is not in the center and the area that is in color balances the area that is not in color. Like the detail of the artwork, especially the "wood" part in "Hollywood" on how it blends in with the girls hair. Also, I like how the artist reuses images for example shapes of stars, trees, clouds throughout image in a balanced way. Seems like it is targeting cities where money is spent.

I agree I love this picture also. I love the use of color and also the black and white aspects. It has a nice sense of balance and movement. Good find!
ReplyDeleteThe use of color in this is interesting, it almost looks unfinished with the top still being just outlines.
ReplyDeleteYeah, i've seen alot of this in the last 2-3 years. Good find though, i definitely agree that this is targeted toward a younger generation with mom and dad's credit card.
